The art and beauty of aging is that one day, you suddenly realize the things you freaked out about before suddenly don’t matter at all. And maybe it’s not aging, rather societal programming. Who knows. Gen Z will tell us in a handful of years when they reach middle age because they have a seemingly strong grip on self-assuredness (even though they’re apparently amid a youth midlife crisis?). Or maybe that’s just older me looking down upon youth wistfully. So cliché I can barely stand what I’m writing.
The point I’m trying to get to is that younger me would have cared way too much about making and posting recipes that look basic, but middle me doesn’t really care because these recipes are delicious, easy and fast and that is worth its weight in gold.
ANYWAY, you’re here for the food, right? I need you to trust me on this one, you need these recipes in your weeknight arsenal. Half of them are one-pot dishes, most are hands-on 30 minutes, one is 15 minutes at the most. I mean, I’ve really outdone my efficient self.
