Second installment of my Meal Prep Series and this is the one you want to start with if you want to get in on the meal prep game. The prep and recipes were so easy I even surprised myself.
The week I put this one together was crazy busy so I needed super fast meals that were guaranteed winners for everyone. Meal prep came together in about an hour, which drastically cut down on time spent making dinner throughout the week. In the time we would have spent trying to figure out what to order if we got takeout, I had dinner on the table.
We are in the season of practicality in our house. Weekends are for fun, flavor-punched dishes - the party dress meals - while these are the capsule wardrobe dishes. They each have their place in our rotation and we’re fortunate to have both. If you are resisting the meal prep arena, I urge you to try it once. Whether you use my recipes or others, I just want you to see how life-changing it is. One time in the kitchen on the weekend to set yourself up for healthy, quick, homemade meals for the whole week.
